The weCAMP project addresses a key area of institutional concern, that of effective planning for and use of future learning spaces and other estates assets. The project aims to develop an innovative Web-based interactive campus visualisation modelling platform to be used by the University of Sheffield (UoS) as a real in-service institution-wide system to facilitatr effective planning and design of future learning and other estate spaces. The e-campus modelling platform will be used by both expert and non expert users to aid the visualisation of present uses of spaces and estate facilities as well as planning and design of new spaces and facilities envisioned for future needs. The software outputs, the lessons learned and the experiences gained from the project will be made widely available to the JISC community.
